The Sigma S-CFC Kit does not use a cartridge or gases. Instead, it utilizes a compression column that contains a layered system of compression discs.

The discs are specially molded to compress in a preset pressure range. The pumping fluid enters the suction stabilizer and encases and interweaves through the network of compression discs. The system’s operating pressure is uniformly applied across the disc’s entire surface, causing the discs to compress under pressure load. The compression of the discs provides an attenuation of system-induced pressure spikes.

The compression discs are explicitly molded for suction line pressure ranges. The compression column contains a mix of layered discs and NBR spacers, providing exceptional kinetic exchange rates.
